It's rare all of these will happen at once, so the player should look out for one or two of these in order to see if they're in the Monster's territory. Though, if the player does not have any weapon, or if their weapon does not have any ammunition, the Monster will kill them. If the player wakes up, they are forced to shoot the Monster until it flees. Keep in mind even if the Monster is closer to you, it's speed will still be the same. For example, if the player is sleeping on a slanted surface, the Monster is more likely to attack them at a closer range, giving it a higher chance to kill you. Where the Monster approaches the player is dependent on where they sleep. Though, if no point of interest appears upon sleeping, the following text will appear at the bottom of their screen: If the player sees a random point of interest, they are safe from the Monster. If there is more than one player sleeping in the Monster's territory, a random player will be chosen to wake up. Though, during this sleep cycle, if the player was to sleep in the Monster's territory, it is likely that they will be attacked during their sleep. As the day passes, the player will have to sleep. Isle has a sleep system that occurs each time an in-game day passes. The Monster is no longer a threat, and everyone will be wiped out. On Day 6, the player has 20 seconds before the simulation resets. This will continue until they die, or until Day 6 hits. The Monster will continue to scratch the player repeatedly until they do one of the following:Īs each day passes, the Monster will attack the player more frequently. Now, the Monster is capable of attacking the player during the day if the player is in it's territory. With the storm approaching the island upon Day 3 hits, the Monster can now attack the player as sunlight is limited due to the storm. Still can be stunned using light sources. In order to predict when the Monster will come and attack you at night, the player can either hear the sound of sticks being stepped on, or use an item that emits light as light stops the Monster from moving. In addition, during these days, the Monster can momentarily appear near the player during night time and scratch the player, dealing 25 damage per scratch. If the player is within it's territory, red text will appear on the bottom of the players screen indicating that the Monster is watching them. Note that the Monster's territory varies between servers, and never has a set territory. The player will be constantly stalked by the Monster, and the player has a chance to wake up at night, leaving them no choice but to shoot the Monster in order to live. Note that no matter how much the player attacks the Monster, it will not die.įor the first two days, the Monster will be in a passive state. The Monster's behavior usually goes as stalking the player during various times during the day, then striking them at night. It's behavior is unexpected, and the player should beware as it could come out and chase you at any time. The Monster only has one purpose, and it is to kill.
